Visit us in October 2017!

16th Aug 2017

Update: Please note that this has been postponed and will be rearranged to  a new date before the end of the year. We will post up the date as soon as we have one.

For the first time, FarmAbility is holding an Open Day on Friday 13 October 2017, for people with an interest in care farming and in our programme.  With several time slots to choose from, you can enjoy a mix of presentations, Q&A sessions, practical demonstrations, all of which we hope will inspire you to feel excited about the potential of farm-based programmes!  For more information, contact JP at or 01865 245604

FarmAbility needs you!

14th Aug 2017

FarmAbility is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who is available on Tuesdays during term time for their new Schools Programme. Volunteers will assist a Programme Leader working with a group of college students with autism or learning disabilities.

Activities will be land- and garden-based, allowing co-farmers to be involved with meaningful occupation. This will support them to build their confidence, improve their well-being and physical health, and increase their self-esteem.

The sessions for which volunteers are needed will take place on Tuesdays during school term-time, and happen between 10am and 2.30pm. They will mostly take place at our base on the FAI Farm in Wytham, but some will occur at other local green sites.

Travel expenses can be repaid where agreed.

For more information, please email or call on 01865 24604.
