One of our more popular activities is working with our three resident horses: working with small groups to feed the horses, groom their coats and manes, and pick their hooves clean. We’re looking for someone who can lead a small group safely and enthusiastically for at least one session on a regular day each week. Experience working with autistic people isn’t required: just patience and a willingness to learn!

You would be given as much support as you needed to feel confident working with a group, including support from Programme Leaders at first for as long as was necessary.

Ideally this would be on Monday or Wednesday afternoons (with the main session itself running from 1pm to 2.15pm), but we would be very happy to talk about other availability you might have. Please call us on 01865 245604 or email our Programme Manager JP on JP@farm-ability.org.uk if you’d like to find out more.
